A nonprofit built around one idea: business owners help each other further, faster.
New Hampshire Business Mentors (nhbm) is a nonprofit that offers free, confidential one-to-one business mentoring from volunteer mentors, plus free workshops, for entrepreneurs, small business owners and nonprofits in the Seacoast area.

Our mission
New Hampshire Business Mentors is a nonprofit organization of experienced business leaders dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, small business owners and nonprofits turn challenges into opportunities and ideas into action. There is no cost, no equity and no sales pitch.
Why mentoring
Most owners get stuck on problems someone else has already solved. A mentor who has run a business shortens that learning curve and helps you make better decisions, faster.

How our business mentoring program works
Three commitments shape how we match you and how your sessions run.

Peer-led
Your mentors have owned or led businesses.
Every New Hampshire Business Mentors mentor has owned a business or led one in a senior role, as a CEO, CFO, CMO or head of a department. They answer from what they did and what they would change, so the advice fits a real company with real limits on time and cash. They volunteer their time.
Local
Run here, for owners here.
New Hampshire Business Mentors is an independent nonprofit led from the Seacoast area. Most of our mentors live and work in the region and know what running a business here involves. Sessions happen on virtual calls, so you can meet from your shop, your office or your kitchen table.
Confidential
What you tell your mentors stays private.
You can talk about cash trouble, a partner dispute or a plan to sell. Every mentor accepts a Code of Ethics that covers confidentiality, and your mentors do not share what you discuss outside nhbm without your consent. After each session they write a short note for the nhbm team so the team can follow up with you.
